Your paragliding adventure with Himalayan Social Journey (HSJ) begins right from your hotel doorstep. Our professional driver will pick you up and take you on a scenic 20-minute jeep ride from Pokhara to Sarangkot, one of Nepal’s most famous viewpoints. From Sarangkot, you will witness breathtaking panoramic views of three of the world’s highest Himalayan peaks—Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu—each rising above 8,000 meters, creating the perfect backdrop for your flight.
At Sarangkot, HSJ offers three different types of tandem paragliding flights, allowing you to choose the style and experience that suits you best. Once you’re ready, you will take off with your certified pilot and enjoy an unforgettable 25–30 minute flight above Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake, lush hillsides, and the towering Himalayas.
Your journey ends with a smooth landing near Fewa Lake, where the peaceful lakeside atmosphere welcomes you back to the ground. After landing, you will be comfortably escorted back to your hotel, completing a seamless, safe, and truly magical paragliding experience with HSJ.

We did the 14 days Nepal budget tour and we could not be more happy with our choice. In only 2 weeks we visited Kathmandu, Chitwan national park, Pokhara and did a 5 day trek in the Annapurna region. The organization was flawless (like a swiss clock). We felt safe and welcomed in every place. Our guides Harka (Chitwan) and Ganesh (Pokhara and trek) + Bishal (our porter) did an outstanding job. We recommend them and the whole trip 100%. It was much better than we could have imagined. Mingmar sherpa dai was our trek lead along-with Tenzing dai, Janak and Siddharth. All of them really helped us during entire the trek. It was my first trekking experience in Nepal and Himalayan Social Journey made the entire experience memorable. They are very professional and will help you at every point. A special word of thanks to Sushma, who helped a lot throughout and was my go-to person. My guide Dinesh was a gem and so was the porter, Ramkrishna. Dinesh saved my life a few times (literally) and he is so efficient and helpful that it is hard to put in words. Want togo back to Nepal through HSJ, there is a lot more to do.
